Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay has yet to be determined
  • Monday – Friday, daytime hours 
  • This position is in-office
 
Position Summary: 
  • Handling month-end processes 
  • Ensuring accurate and timely invoicing
  • Responding to customer inquiries 
  • Filing credit applications for new customers and vendors
  • Matching purchase orders to packing slips
  • Reconciling and recording HST
  • Posting journal entries and completing reconciliations
  • Reviewing, verifying, and posting staff expenses
  • Monitoring and managing company credit cards
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • 3+ years of accounting experience 
  • Familiarity with Sage 50
  • An independent worker who thrives under deadlines
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate to advanced competency in MS Excel
 
Bonus Points For: 
  • Previous experience in the construction or manufacturing industry
