Job Description

Our client, located in Medicine Hat, AB is seeking a motivated temporary administrative assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and aims to provide excellent support services. If you are someone who possesses excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills and has a background in administrative support, this may be the role for you!
 
Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be $18/hr. 
  • Monday – Friday, 8:15 am – 4:30 pm
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
 
Position Summary: 
  • Assisting Case workers with document control and data entry
  • Perform basic administrative duties such as filing and photocopying
  • Prepare and edit documents as needed. 
  • Assist in scheduling, organizing meetings, and managing calendars for designated staff.
  • Provide occasional coverage for reception
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, ensuring effective communication with team members and visitors.
  • Strong writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage schedules/tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm in high pressure or stressful situations.
  • A team player who is self-motivated.

  • Business Administration or other relevant schooling
