Job Description

We’re seeking a Bookkeeper/Executive Assistant to join the team of our non-profit client for a 3-month contract. This role supports the Executive Director in keeping everything on track from managing finances to scheduling staff, you’ll play a vital part in their mission.

Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be $25 - $26/hr. 
  • This is a fulltime position
    1. Tuesday & Wednesday: Day shift
    2. Thursday & Friday: Evening shift
    3. Saturday: Day shift 
 
Position Summary: 
  • Financial Soundness: Handling accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and monthly reconciliations
  • Capturing the Details: Taking minutes, preparing funder reports, ensuring permits, insurance, & essential documents are always up to date, and concise recording of events, programs, & other important deadlines or dates
  • Supporting the Flow: Scheduling staff, managing inventory, overseeing cash handling, and assisting the Executive Director with onboarding and orientations as needed
  • Digital Curator: Administration of files and databases – financial records, policies & procedures, and donor records
  • Go-To Person: Providing essential support during programs and events
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and GSuite
  • A sharp eye for detail and respect for confidentiality
  • A collaborative mindset and a professional demeanor
  • Ability to provide a satisfactory criminal record check
  • Independent but connected: You’ll often work solo but with a strong sense of purpose and support from the team
