Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our client’s team as a Bookkeeper. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and generating financial reports.

Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be $20/hr. 
  • This is a fulltime, temporary position
  • Monday – Friday, daytime hours 
 
Position Summary: 
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Reconciling bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting
  • Communicating with clients/vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • Proven bookkeeping experience 
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
  • Sharp eye for detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
 
Bonus Points For: 
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
