Select People Solutions is pleased to be working with Airtech in their search for a Commercial Manager to join their team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC design, along with proven leadership skills to effectively manage a team and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Position Summary:
- Promote employee engagement and development by providing timely feedback, career progression plans, training schedules, and other supports as needed
- Forecast monthly revenues and expenses and adapting pricing strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth
- Develop relationships with a loyal customer base to aid in year-round sustainable business development and growth
- Manage and oversee commercial HVAC projects from start to finish
- Lead and mentor a team of estimators, project coordinators, installers and fabricators, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met and communication is maintained throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability of HVAC projects
- Assignment of daily, monthly, and project-based tasks to employees, providing support as needed
- Clearly communicate with staff to ensure accurate expectations, job performance, and changes as they occur within the project/job sites
Required Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of proven experience in a managerial role effectively leading people
- Certification in the Sheet Metal or Mechanical Engineer
- Proven record of developing and achieving strategic goals
- Knowledge of the HVAC industry, equipment, and processes
- Must be willing to relocate to Lethbridge, AB
- Knowledge and experience in providing estimates and take-offs
- Desire to coach employees through professional development, training, and career progression plans
- Ability to build relationships with new customers, existing clients, and suppliers
- Ability to create and understand financial projections and creatively pivot sales strategies as needed
- Strong organizational skills, including scheduling and coordinating tasks of others, and providing needed support
