Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be $75-80K/year
  • Based in office, Lethbridge, AB
 
Position Summary: 
  • Overseeing all aspects of the company's commercial property portfolio
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize property performance and maximize profitability
  • Fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth
  • Conducting property inspections and coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Establishing scalable systems to grow with the company that allows for the streamlining of processes
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for portfolio growth and improvement
  • Negotiating lease agreements and renewals with tenants 
  • Monitoring financial performance against budget and implement cost-saving measures when necessary
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Implementing risk management strategies
  • Overseeing property insurance coverage and claims processes
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • Post Secondary education in property management, business administration, paralegal, or equivalent
  • 3-5+ years of experience within commercial asset, property, facility, or lease management
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to effectively build relationships within a team and tenants
  • Tech savvy, with experience implementing and managing new software systems
  • Strong financial acumen with experience budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Understanding of Lethbridge markets in regard to real estate, common practices, and community trends
