Select People Solutions is pleased to be working with our commercial property management client in their search for a Controller to join their team. Successful candidates will be experienced in overseeing financial activities and shaping company financial strategy.

Compensation & Hours: 
  • The salary will be $75K-$95K based on experience
  • This will be an in-office role located in Lethbridge, AB
  • Expected 30 hours a week
 
Position Summary: 
  • Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements 
  • Managing the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Coordinating audits ensuring all reports are accurate and systems are current
  • Developing and maintaining reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
  • Providing strategic financial insights for senior management to drive business performance
  • Monitoring financial performance and analyze variances against budget and forecasts
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop financial strategies and initiatives to drive profitability and growth
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Finance Management, Accounting, or Controller roles 
  • Post Secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related
  • Strong ability to pull and analyze data – summarizing, presenting, and providing solutions
  • Tech savvy – ability to implement and manage new systems and software’s within the division and company as a whole
  • Ability to work hands on as a collaborative member of the team within the context of the organization as a whole
