Job Description

Our client is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Finance Manager to lead financial operations with purpose, precision and accountability. This is a critical leadership role that directly impacts the company’s sustainability, overseeing everything from financial planning to investment strategy.

Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be $85,000 - $92,000 
  • Full-time, permanent position. 
 
Position Summary: 
  • Oversee financial planning, reporting and budget management 
  • Conduct financial risk assessments 
  • Lead investment strategy and audit readiness 
  • Support payroll, employee benefits and WCB Claims oversight 
  • Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy
  • Guide and mentor a high-performing finance team
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years of financial or accounting management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • Demonstrated leadership in strategic financial decision-making
  • Ability to manage multiple projects by strategically prioritizing work to align with organizational goals
  • Collaborative team player with a track record of building strong working relationships across departments. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
 
Bonus Points For: 
  • Familiarity with Canadian Payroll Association or Project Management certification
  • Municipal experience 
  • CPA (or equivalent) designation
