Job Description
Select People Solutions is pleased to be working with our client in their search for an Instrumentation Technician. Successful candidates will be proven problem solvers who are able to troubleshoot all manner of instrumentation and electrical work within a manufacturing setting.

Compensation & Hours:
- The rate of pay will be $49.71/hr.
- Rotating 12-hour shifts
Position Summary:
- Preforming preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment – solving instrumentation, electrical, or mechanical problems
- Utilizing PLC software, computer software, and speed drives
- Troubleshooting issues and documenting what was needed for repairs or maintenance
- Collaborating with other departments and shifts regarding scheduled maintenance and repairs
- Providing recommendations for improvements to equipment and processes
- Maintaining all safety expectations as dictated by company and provincial standards
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician certificate
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation processes, PLC programing, and software’s
- 2+ years of experience as an instrumentation technician
- Mechanical aptitude
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
