Select is assisting their Taber based Manufacturing client in their search for a Maintenance Supervisor. Their ideal candidate is a results-driven individual who can inspire and lead their team to reach departmental goals in safety, efficiency, and quality.

Compensation & Hours: 
  • The salary is expected to be $90K - $105K/year
  • 12 hour rotating shifts, 4 days/week
 
Position Summary: 
  • Leading the execution of daily preventative & predictive maintenance to ensure reliability of machines 
  • Developing and motivating a team of empowered, engaged, and proactive technicians 
  • Fostering a lean, safe, and inclusive culture 
  • Providing support and insight on mechanical issues
  • Initiating continuous improvement projects 
  • Technical aptitude to identify, report, troubleshoot, and correct faults
  • Ensuring department budget is utilized effectively 
  • Reporting on metrics 
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • 3+ years of experience leading tradespeople that must include technician development, training implementation, and culture building 
  • Journeyperson trade certificate or Engineering degree 
  • 5+ years of operations maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • Strong communicator 
  • Much be mechanically inclined
  • Competent in using MS Suite, PM Systems, SAP, and Maintenance CMMS
 
Bonus Points For: 
  • Food production or manufacturing experience
  • Valid Driver’s License and related safety tickets/certifications
  • Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) designation
