We are seeking a Payroll Clerk to support our client’s finance team with a variety of critical tasks, including biweekly payroll, invoicing, and account reconciliations. Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be $29.24/hr.
  • 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday
  • This is a fulltime and permanent position. 
 
Position Summary: 
  • Submitting payroll for 100+ employees biweekly 
  • Reviewing, correcting, following up about, and entering time slips
  • Using ADP to approve timecards / employee changes, fix timecard issues, add expenses/reimbursements, process updates (wage, deductions, taxable benefits), and add/change operation codes
  • Processing ROE’s, profit share payments, bonuses, and T4’s
  • Invoicing packing slips and rejects 
  • Entering and issuing payments & invoices 
  • Completing credit references for customers 
  • Overseeing A/R aged trial balances and escalating overdue accounts
  • Managing discrepancies
  • Ensuring PO’s are approved
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • Must have 2-3 years of previous accounting, AP/AR/, and high-volume payroll experience 
  • Skilled in using ADP software 
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or business administration 
  • Thorough understanding of financial statements 
  • Comfortable following up with questions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness 
  • Detail oriented
