Compensation & Hours: 
  • Salary expected to be $70,000-$100,000/year
  • Monday – Friday
  • Occasional weekends as required
 
Position Summary: 
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the entire construction process from initial planning to completion
  • Leading a team
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Ensure project compliance with building codes, safety standards, and company policies
  • Manage and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and engineers
  • Prepare and present project status reports and project documentation
  • Oversee quality control and safety protocols on the job site
  • Negotiate contracts and manage project financials, ensuring all costs are controlled and managed effectively
  • Ensure that all documents, permits, and compliance reports are in order and filed correctly
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years in commercial construction management or similar role that highlights proven leadership skills
  • Valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to provide criminal record check and pass drug screening
  • In-depth understanding of safety standards and building codes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts, blueprints and construction specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Ability to provide technical support on site

  • Civil Engineering or CET 
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management
