Job Description

Our client is seeking a receptionist for a two-week vacation coverage. In this role you will be the first point of contact when a client or visitor reaches out to the company, whether in person, over the phone or online. To be successful in this position you must be customer service driven, organized, problem solve, and always maintain a professional and friendly attitude.

  • Monday – Friday, day shifts
  • Experience as a receptionist in a construction environment.
 
Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be $19/ hour.
  • Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm 
 
Position Summary: 
  • Greeting and directing visitors to appropriate staff/department
  • Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls and emails
  • Providing basic and accurate information to clients/visitors
  • Receiving, sorting, and distributing daily mail
  • Entering purchase orders into Sage 100
  • Matching packing slips and invoices
  • Organizing incoming paperwork
  • Other reception duties as needed
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • 1+ Years proven experience in a receptionist role
  • 1+ Years experience in Sage 50 or QuickBooks online software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks as they arrive
 
Bonus Points For: 
  • Construction administration experience
  • Sage 100 experience
