Job Description

Select is looking for a temporary receptionist for our agricultural client to perform front desk and AP / AR duties.
 
What’s in it for You?

  • No weekends
 
Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be $18 - $21/hr. 
  • This is a part-time, temporary position (2 – 3 months)
  • 3 days/week, 4-6 hours/day
 
Position Summary: 
  • Attending the front counter; developing & maintaining quality relationships with clientele 
  • Filing and record upkeep; preparing customer forms and compiling sales reports 
  • Creating, receiving, and processing orders
  • Maintaining consistency when submitting reports and records 
  • Answering customer inquiries and concerns via phone or email
  • Billing and invoicing 
  • Accurate data entry into accounting software for payables and receivables
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, & Sage
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
  • An outgoing and positive demeanor would best fit our client’s culture
  • Critically important to have a high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; great phone etiquette
 
Bonus Points For: 
  • Familiar with the agriculture industry
  • Post-secondary education in accounting, administrative, or business management
