Select People Solutions is pleased to be working with our agriculture client as they search for a sales representative to join their team. As a territory sales representative, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth within an assigned territory. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and execute strategies to drive sales and build lasting relationships.

Compensation & Hours: 
  • Competitive base salary with uncapped commission potential
  • This is a full time, permanent role
  • Monday-Friday with occasional weekends depending on the time of year
  • Travel throughout Southern Alberta
 
Position Summary: 
  • Build & establish relationships with customers to understand their needs and how to meet those needs effectively 
  • Providing customers with information regarding farm machinery and heavy equipment
  • Completing outside sales, including industry events and cold calling  
  • Manage sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales performance
  • Analyzing for creative problem-solving as needed to ensure customer satisfaction is met 
  • Meets and exceeds sales targets and KPIs set by management
  • Analyzing contracts and reports
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years of proven sales experience, ideally in heavy equipment sales
  • Valid drivers license, clean drivers abstract, and reliable vehicle are required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • High level of integrity & strong sense of accountability
  • Ability to be flexible in response to changing priorities and needs
  • Self-motivated with results driven attitude and the ability to work independently
 
Bonus Points For: 
  • Agriculture background or previous experience in agriculture sales
