Job Description

Our client is seeking a Water Treatment Supervisor to oversee all repair, maintenance, and operational activities within their manufacturing facility. This pivotal role in facility water management requires a minimum of a Level 3 Unrestricted Water Treatment AEP Certificate. Successful candidates will support safety, quality, cost, and facility goals, fostering a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.

Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be $95K-$110K/year
  • Rotating 12 hour shifts, 7 – 7
  • 4 on/5 off and 5 on/4 off 
Position Summary: 
  • Oversee Water Treatment and Wastewater Control Systems for potable and wastewater
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service
  • Monitor water treatment, industrial runoff, industrial wastewater, and domestic wastewater control systems – ensuring safety, quality, and cost standards are maintained 
  • Determine and coordinate teams for needed maintenance, ensuring plant down-time is minimized and that capital improvements are incorporated
  • Incorporate legislative programs, guidelines, and restrictions – ensuring compliance within established water rights 
  • Monitor water production levels and treatment systems, adjusting as necessary
  • Manage operators, providing guidance and leadership to your team 
Required Qualifications: 
  • 3+ Years of experience working in industrial water management
  • Level 3 Unrestricted Water Treatment AEP Certificate
  • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement strategies 
  • Excellent PC skills, including Windows, Word, and Excel
  • First Aid Certified
  • Provincial Driver's License
