Select People Solutions is assisting our client in their search for a Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be skilled in a variety of areas including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems. Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be $22 – $30.64/hr. dependent on experience 
  • This will be a full-time and permanent position
 
Position Summary: 
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery 
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose machinery as needed by using strong problem solving techniques
  • Install and operate CNC equipment
  • Uphold a safe work environment as dictated by company policy’s and operating procedures in accordance with Alberta Safey Standards
  • Communicate with operators for machine operations information and manuals
  • Use of hand power tools to perform maintenance as applicable
  • Read blueprints and follow plans as provided
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in maintenance for large facilities
  • Ability to carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. safely 
  • Knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures for machinery and equipment
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow plans
 
Bonus Points For: 
  • Additional certifications or training in maintenance
  • Previous experience in manufacturing
  • Experience with CNC programming
  • Familiarity with electrical and hydraulic systems
