Select People Solutions is working with our construction industry client known for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. With a commitment to excellence and a team of dedicated professionals, they are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join their team and contribute to their continued success.

Compensation & Hours:
- The rate of pay will be dependent on experience
- This is a full-time, permanent position
- Sales bonus as applicable
Position Summary:
- Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Confirm customer contracts are accurate and detailed as required for invoicing and change orders
- Monitor and control project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, bid documents, and project reports
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety compliance and quality control with OH&S requirements
- Procure materials and equipment, negotiate with suppliers, and manage procurement contracts
- Provide clear and timely communication to clients and stakeholders on project status and progress
- Identify and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Mentor and supervise project team members, including site supervisors and support staff
- Prepare and submit project status reports to senior management
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of construction project management experience
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the construction industry.
- Valid Alberta Drivers license and clean drivers abstract
Bonus Points For:
- Journeyman Carpentry certification or a C.E.T. designation
- PMP certification
