Job Description

Our client is looking for an outgoing individual to join their bakery team! The ideal candidate will assist both with the baking and with the customer-facing operations of the store, showing creativity, innovation, and a love for all things baking.

Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be dependent on experience 
  • This will be a full-time, permanent position
 
Position Summary: 
  • Assisting with bakery operations, such as preparation, baking, and maintaining a high degree of cleanliness 
  • Providing superb customer service – fostering positive guest relationships with a high level of professionalism and hospitality
  • Working alongside the cashiers taking customers orders, making product recommendations, and resolving customer complaints
  • Occasionally assisting with managerial duties such as directing workflow, scheduling, training, and planning 
  • Merchandising – creating attractive displays and filling inventory when needed
  • Driving innovation by providing new suggestions to improve operations 
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • 1 year experience as a Pastry Chef / Baker
  • Strong communication skills 
  • A focus on and passion for customer service
  • Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended period of time 
 
Bonus Points For:
