Select People Solutions is pleased to be working with our Taber based client in their search for a driven recruiter to join their team. The successful candidate will be focused on developing and managing employee growth and performance. Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be $55K-$70K based on relevant experience
  • This will be a full-time, 2 year contract position 
  • This position would require either commuting or relocating to Taber 
 
Position Summary: 
  • Facilitating full cycle recruitment for seasonal, trade, hourly, technical, and supervisory roles
  • Sourcing candidates and developing relationships with potential talent
  • Working with team leads and hiring managers to determine job duties, skills sets, and personality traits needed for different roles 
  • Collaborating with recruiting agencies and other organizations while building relationships within the community
  • Completing new employee offer letters, solidifying job descriptions, onboarding, orientations, retention plans, and any further candidate needs
  • Developing and maintaining recruitment strategies and initiatives
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • 2-5 years of experience in a professional environment
  • Post-secondary education
  • Ability to relocate or reliably commute to Taber, AB
  • Very strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on results and completing the details
  • Preference will be given to candidates with previous recruitment experience
