Job Description

Select is looking to build our pools of Bookkeepers in the Taber area. If you are an expert in your field, we can be the link between your resume and the right people.
 
Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will vary based on industry
 
Position Summary: 
  • Bank reconciliations, maintaining ledgers, and preparing financial statements 
  • Creating and managing profit loss statements 
  • Maintaining accuracy and consistency in reporting & recording
  • Preparing payroll
  • GST preparation and filing
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • 2+ years of QuickBooks or Sage 50 experience 
  • Ability to be professional and provide outstanding customer service, even in difficult situations
  • Must be able to be firm and effectively achieve results while remaining diplomatic
  • Critically important to have high attention to detail
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills

  • Post-secondary education in accounting or payroll
