Do you have a passion for trucks, have a keen eye to detail and like to take a methodical approach to your work? This parts position may be the role for you. Our client is looking to hire a fulltime parts person.
 
As a Parts Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the installation, modification, and repair of specialized truck equipment.

Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be $45,000 - $70,000
    • Note: the rate of pay will be based on education and number of years working in parts
  • Monday – Friday: 8am – 4:30 PM
 
Position Summary: 
  • Parts inventory management
    • Maintain an accurate inventory of parts and components, ensuring stock levels are adequate to meet operational requirements.
  • Parts Identification
    • Identify and label parts accurately and provide solutions for customers who are unsure of the model number or need help deciding which part to choose if there are several options to choose from. 
  • Order Fulfillment
    • Receive, process, fulfill and track parts to ensure timely arrival
  • Quality Control
    • Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, documenting any discrepancy and working closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining Documentation
    • Accurately keep detailed records of parts transactions and inventory
  • Customer Service Focused
    • Assist customers and internal teams with parts inquiries, providing product information and pricing with courtesy, even in difficult situations.
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma
  • Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Current Parts Apprentice or have relevant work experience and willing to enroll in trades program
  • Proven experience working in a Parts department
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Strong Organizational Skills 
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs safely
  • Manual Dexterity
  • Basic Math
  • Customer Service Focused
