Seed Processing Technician

Select is pleased to be working with our client as they search for a dependable Seed Processing Technician to support daily seed processing and production operations. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys hands-on work, follows procedures closely, and takes pride in quality and accuracy.

Compensation & Hours:
•    The rate of pay will be $20-23/hr depending on experience
•    Full-time, temporary position
•    Monday to Friday, rotating shifts may be required

Position Summary:
•    Operate and monitor seed processing equipment according to established procedures
•    Assist with cleaning, treating, sorting, and packaging seed products
•    Perform quality checks to ensure product standards are met
•    Record production data and maintain accurate documentation
•    Support inventory handling and material movement within the facility
•    Follow safety, quality, and operational guidelines at all times
•    Assist with general housekeeping and work area organization

Required Qualifications:
•    High school diploma or equivalent
•    Valid Driver’s License and a clean abstract
•    Ability to work in a production or processing environment
•    Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
•    Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
•    Physically able to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks
•    Willingness to work rotating shifts when required
•    Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Bonus Points For:
•    Previous experience in seed processing, agriculture, or manufacturing
•    Mechanical aptitude or experience working with production equipment
•    Familiarity with workplace safety standards
