Compensation & Hours:
•    The rate of pay will be based on experience and industry standards
•    Monday through Friday, daytime hours
•    Overtime and travel opportunities may be available depending on project requirements

Position Summary:
•    Lead and supervise steel erection and ironworker crews on commercial, industrial, institutional, and agricultural construction projects
•    Coordinate daily site activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope
•    Read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents
•    Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
•    Mentor, train, and support crew members while promoting accountability and teamwork
•    Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure efficient project execution
•    Conduct daily safety meetings, inspections, and hazard assessments
•    Manage manpower, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity
•    Identify and resolve field challenges proactively and efficiently
•    Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate progress updates to leadership

Required Qualifications:
•    Journeyman Ironworker certification or significant steel erection experience considered an asset
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in steel erection, structural steel, or pre-engineered building construction
•    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
•    Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
•    Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
•    Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship
•    Valid driver's license, clean driving abstract and willingness to travel to project sites as required

•    Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, First Aid, or other safety certifications
•    Experience working on large-scale industrial or agricultural projects
•    Strong background in mentoring apprentices and developing crews
