Job Description

We are currently seeking a Lean Manufacturing Specialist to drive operational excellence within a fast-paced agriculture manufacturing environment. This role will lead process optimization initiatives, champion Lean methodologies, and support cross-functional teams in improving efficiency, quality, and overall performance.

Compensation & Hours:

The rate of pay will be $90-100K/year, depending on experience
Monday through Friday, daytime hours
Overtime may be required during peak production periods

Position Summary:

Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Analyze current processes, identify gaps, and implement sustainable improvements
Facilitate Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and problem-solving sessions
Develop and track KPIs related to efficiency, quality, and cost reduction
Partner with cross-functional teams to standardize best practices across operations
Provide coaching and training to staff on continuous improvement principles and tools
Support change management initiatives and drive a culture of accountability and performance
Monitor project outcomes and ensure alignment with overall business objectives

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or higher)
Proven track record of leading successful process improvement initiatives
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Experience working in cross-functional teams within a production setting

Bonus Points For:

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools
Experience leading large-scale transformation or change initiatives
