Job Description

We are currently seeking a Lean Manufacturing Specialist to drive operational excellence within a fast-paced agriculture manufacturing environment. This role will lead process optimization initiatives, champion Lean methodologies, and support cross-functional teams in improving efficiency, quality, and overall performance.

Compensation & Hours: 
  • The rate of pay will be $90-100K/year, depending on experience 
  • Monday through Friday, daytime hours
  • Overtime may be required during peak production periods
 
Position Summary: 
  • Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies 
  • Analyze current processes, identify gaps, and implement sustainable improvements 
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and problem-solving sessions 
  • Develop and track KPIs related to efficiency, quality, and cost reduction 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to standardize best practices across operations 
  • Provide coaching and training to staff on continuous improvement principles and tools 
  • Support change management initiatives and drive a culture of accountability and performance 
  • Monitor project outcomes and ensure alignment with overall business objectives
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or higher) 
  • Proven track record of leading successful process improvement initiatives 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions 
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities 
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams within a production setting
 
Bonus Points For: 
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification 
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools 
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation or change initiatives
