Compensation & Hours:

Position Summary:
•    Talent Sourcing: Identify, research, and engage prospective candidates using strategic sourcing methods similar to supplier scouting.
•    Needs Assessment: Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and forecast workforce demand.
•    Vendor Evaluation: Screen and assess candidates using structured evaluation criteria.
•    Contract Negotiation: Lead offer discussions, ensuring competitive, equitable, and cost effective outcomes.
•    Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates to reduce time to fill.
•    Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
•    Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline recruitment workflows and improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
•    Post Secondary Education
•    Strategic sourcing experience: Background in procurement, supply chian or vendor management
•    Experience working cross-functionally to meet organizational needs
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort using office systems and databases
•    Clear, professional communication with internal and external partners
•    Previous experience in recruitment is an asset but not required, we can teach the people-ops side if you bring the procurement mindset
