Yard Coordinator

Select People Solutions is pleased to be working with our local client in Fort Macleod in their search for a Yard Coordinator. We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in keeping things organized and enjoys supporting both operations and production teams in a hands-on environment.

Compensation & Hours:
•    The rate of pay will be $24–$29/hr, depending on experience
•    This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, 8:00 am – 5:00pm
•    This role is based in Fort Macleod, AB – candidates must be located in Fort Macleod or able to reliably commute

Position Summary:
•    Maintain a clean and organized yard, ensuring all materials and equipment are stored safely and efficiently.
•    Assist operations and production teams with the movement, preparation, and staging of equipment and supplies.
•    Perform general yard duties including loading/unloading, sorting materials, and minor maintenance.
•    Support inventory control and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth daily workflow.
•    Uphold safety procedures and contribute to a well-maintained, hazard-free work area.

Required Qualifications:
•    Prior experience working in a yard or warehouse
•    Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a busy setting.
•    Physically capable of lifting, moving, and organizing equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs).
•    Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and in a team.
•    Zoom Boom or forklift experience.

Bonus Points For:
•    Experience operating a Zoom Boom/Telehandler.
•    Valid forklift certification and general mechanical aptitude.
•    Knowledge of basic yard maintenance procedures.
